Some Kind of WonderfulJohn Hughes wrote this teen-romance in 1986, the movie came out in 1987 directed by Howard Deutch. It is the story of Watts, played by Mary Stuart Masterson, who discovers she has deep feelings for her best friend, Keith (played by Eric Stoltz), after he starts dating the most popular girl in school, Amanda (played by Lea Thompson.)
