Woman Claims Ownership of the SunLadies and gentlemen, it may have taken billions of years, but we now know who the sun's owner is. Angeles Duran, a 49 year-old Spanish woman, registered the big star at a local notary public last week. Duran claims there is an international agreement which states that no country may claim ownership of a planet or star, but it says nothing about individuals. States Duran: "There was no snag. I backed my claim legally. I am not stupid, I know the law." Duran wants to charge a fee to everyone using, ahem, her sun. Dayum.....lifeguards are screwed.
